Dexter Season 6

Last episode was much better. Mos Def is interesting, and Dexter finds him interesting too. He's interested in how this guy actually did change (so far as we know) and he'll start thinking about his own faith and if he can change. While at the same time, Hanks/Adama are out doing their crazy stuff.

I don't like the Deb promotion. I know WHY, to get back at Lagorda, but it's unrealistic that someone that new would get put in that position, but that's fine I guess.

hahaha Lagorda

I'm not a big fan of the Deb promotion, either. Batista never seemed to be the Sergeant that Dokes was, so I could see him being passed over. I hope the Quinn drama dies soon. It's time for Deb to sleep with Masuka. She's been with everyone else, right?

I liked this episode a lot more than the first one. I have to echo the sentiments about Mos Def, great potential with this character. Not sure how I feel about Deb. Does anyone else find it really annoying when she strings together like 3 curse words when she's surprised or mad? I think it's supposed to be funny, but I've never thought it works. Feeling better about the direction of this season now, though.

It sucks that Batista got pasted over, but that's the politics of law enforcement.

Quinn does need to get taken out, hopefully by Dexter. If Deb is the head of homocide and finds out about Dexter what does she do? That's what I'm looking forward to.

That won't happen for a while. It's funny how you buy into characters but Batista def got screwed, but they kind of let that be known last episode. He's a cop's cop.

The Deb promotion makes sense from a PR stand point, adds an interesting dynamic, but I still think it's a little cheesy.

So glad I found this show and I LOVE the music.

Anyone else think big boobies blonde that works alongside Masuka is evil??? something is up with that chick

and why is it..that I finally get a half naked Quinn scene..and he's fuging bored!! wtf!? not fair!

Yes, kind of like the reporter during the Trinity season...something is up with this girl. More than just stealing evidence to sell on eBay. This season is really starting to come together, and Colin Hanks is becoming more believable as a serial killer. The booby trap slit throat wings girl scene was badass.

    • I definitely respect your opinion more than Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, and Carmelo Anthony (whom I just watched on their show, all saying NOBODY wants to get the Hornets in the post-season). You win.
    • For all the good feelings about Bryce Young, when you read between the lines, it's what DC says and doesn't say that makes us know that Bryce hasn't necessarily been the supercomputer that they thought he would be. This season, Bryce has to make a tangible progression on the field. "A big part of it is being able to operate at the line of scrimmage — not in the huddle — when we want to, and he’s certainly capable of that," Canales said about Young. "It’s not solely on him. It’s a group that’s pretty young. You have to trust all the guys to go up there, communicate verbally or nonverbally and execute what we’re doing. We’ve made huge strides in that regard. His ability to alter things based on what they’re giving you will give us another edge, which he’s continued to grow and had some great examples down the stretch where he identified things they were doing, got us to the right check and capitalized on some plays. Want to see him do that more when it’s appropriate. We don’t need to be changing things just to change it." The implications, perhaps insinuations, are pretty evident. Bryce is just going to have to do better. "And then for Bryce, it’s the identification of early on the cues that the defense are giving us, to be able to eliminate parts of your progression before the ball’s even snapped. That happens with time. I’ve seen quarterbacks really own and master, which allows them to play lightning fast." Obviously Bryce isn't necessarily picking things up as fast as Canales would like, and I can only assume that Canales is making comparisons to Russell Wilson, Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield. But, of course, not everyone picks things up at the same rate. Bryce's pace has left Canales wanting for more. During the coming season, I don't believe that it will be good enough for Bryce to start putting things together in December, evidence of the light switch being on is going to have to show itself in September. Basically, it's really the moment that we've all been waiting for, the one that we thought should've happened earlier, the one that brings Bryce's accountability in the spotlight. On an off note, perhaps to that end, we should consider the possible implications upon the draft, but that's another story. Basically, it's time for Bryce to sh¡t or get off the pot. https://roundtable.io/sports/nfl/panthers/news/carolina-panthers-dave-canales-holds-nothing-back-on-bryce-young-in-new-interview
