i dont know why they just dont trade him for nothing to a team like Washington, Seattle or Miami. a 7th round pick for Clausen sounds like a good deal for a team who has time to groom a young QB.

Since Clausen can't be "Practice Squaded" then that statement doesn't matter. If he could've been, it wouldn't have added "two" players, since Clausen would've been on the Practice Squad, his weekly spot on the Inactive List would have been taken by somebody else who doesn't need to be on the field, and they'd bring in someone else who can actually contribute on the defensive side of the ball. How's that "two" players being added?

Not that I care, since I don't give a crap about "the rules", just the fact that there are better options for the team than a 3rd QB that you don't need.
