Someone on here a couple of years ago was harassed by the Char-Meck Police for taking pics of the Uptown Charlotte buildings on a Sunday. Said the Patriot act forbid taking pics of public buildings.

Someone else was harrassed for taking pics of Erickson Arena during a Panther's night game with it all lit up.

I don't recall who they were or if they had their camera confiscated by the Char-Meck Gestapo.

We don't realize how many civil liberties we have lost due to "The Patriot Act" all in the name of combating terrorism!

Search Warrant? "We don't need no stinking search warrant no more!"

Miranda Rights? "We don't need to read you your rights no more!"

Wire Tap? "We don't need no court order to do that no more!"

Everyone's cell phone conversations are recorded and listened to by a super computer for key words that may mean trouble!

on and on and on......

I'd better tone it down. This post will probably cause men in black suits to come and visit me! At least the Char-Meck police!
