I've have been to the city on the 4th of July and for Mardi Gras.

Place is a zoo. Smells like piss. Way run down.

Not interested in ever going back there.

Ever heard of second chances? Well, they are when you try something again that you were disappointed in the first time. You here about a place that people hype up and then you go and you are let down. You think it could have just been the timing of the trip, or something else causing it to be a let down. So you give it a second chance. But when that second chance is just as terrible, you decide to not give the city a third chance.

Or, just hear me out here. I know this might sound crazy. But he could possibly have friends or family there as crazy as that sounds.

I don't know his explanation but those are some pretty logical ones.

As for being disapointed in the city....you probably just missed the end of Bourbon St. that you were looking for. You just have to keep walking to you see the rainbow flags then you would have had your dream night. :party:

It's a poo hole that was under water for half a year.. thankfully it killed off some of the stupider ones down there, but the smell is probably sticking around.

I think its sad that there have been as many posts like this as there are in this thread. Our city has something your fan base and state seem to be lacking and that's class.

Everyone tagging about the smell has probably never been off of Bourbon. Bourbon smells like piss and beer. I live here and I hate Bourbon. The rest of the city smells nothing like it. It's also odd that the street all of the tourists come to to ***** and drink smells like that. Coincidence?
