I'm watching the greenbay game and this kid is no joke....AP will always do his thing....your prediction...?

U're right...the QBs who were told weren't going to be much in the NFL are holding their own. Dalton was the only one I didn't pay much mind too during the draft but I had strong feeling that Cam, Christian, Jake and Mallett were going to hold their own. I hope they don't prove me wrong.

If the Packers lose today, the Panthers lose next week.

If the Vikings lose, the Panthers are more likely to win, because the Vikings will be deflated, no matter how much they lose by.

Huh? That makes no sense. I'm pretty sure that isn't what determines who will win next week.

Is this your first year watching football?

I always look at the next weeks opponent....hopefully our team is doing the same thing...getting ready for next week instead of losing focus on a win that could of easily went the other way...come on pimpin i want to win before the bye week...

The Panthers could have had the Skins by 20 points if the defense hadn't decided to gift them that one in the late fourth. Saying todays game could have gone either way is like saying the Falcons win could have gone either way. When a team have u by at least 2 tds in the middle of the fourth quarter, unless u got a REALLY good defense, or u're the Giants, u're not going to win.

    • I mean, that sounds good. I will say that I kind of cringe when people say we overpaid for for an O-line because if you want the best players, or even quality players on the O-line, you're going to have to pay. They were proven players, one arguably the best at his position in football, so you're going to back up the Brinks truck. I don't see it as overpaying as much as I see it shifting your priorities in light of your situation and market conditions.  Now with an RB, those generally are easier to get and easier to replace, especially if you have a good O-line. We could've let Chuba walk and still kept rolling a lot easier than continuing to roll the dice on backups starting on the O-line. I can't even remember who was available, but I'd bet that there was someone available who could replace Chuba's production. That being said, we've been told in this thread that Chuba's contract was structured in a way that facilitates minimal pain if we decide to move on from him. If that's so, then it was smart and someone in the FO had a little foresight (and probably understands the PR side of things, as well as the pure numbers side).
