Nice article in the Observer about the boy Cam gave the ball too

He also gave a game ball to his offensive line after the game, but I guess Shula must have been yelling that in his ear also?

It's clear you have an agenda, congratulations - now please go find a team with a QB you like, may I suggest Miami?

I also find it funny that he rags on the Superman celebration as leaving his team out. Almost as if he's never heard of the Justice League...

Now I'm thinking about whom on the Panthers would be whom in the JL...

He's giving out gameballs now? He really does run this team from the top down. Got JR on lock, basically does Rivera's job, pretty soon he'll be designing all black uniforms for the Panthers.

Yes, it's all part of his evil plot to become emperor of the universe.

You haven't been around football much, have you?

Not really too familiar with the hoodedness of saintdome because I haven't been to church since I started making decisions for myself BUT using the term loosely and what it's evolved into, yeah.

If you think that simply being a good person makes you a saint, then you need to significantly raise your standards.

Oh jeez, that argument again?

Is this the part where you compare them to some military organization with Cam as their field general and blah blah blah.

If Rivera gave it to Cam and Cam gave it to his linemen, good gesture guy, you get props.

If Cam gives it to linemen, slooooooooooooooooow down, you don't get to make those calls.

Players (especially QB's) give game balls to other players all-the-time.

...and BTW, Cam was criticized for not having leadership ability - but he's already attained a status in the locker room where he's giving away a game ball, so which is it?

If Cam was getting the "golden child" treatment, when why did Rivera refuse to name the starting QB until the final week of the preseason?

Cam was criticized for also most every things with not one once of substantiated proof to back up the criticism. Just a bunch of so called questions..

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
