Long Research Papers Suck.

Started around 4:00 today, told myself I'd have it done by around 8:00 if I put my mind to it.

8:00 comes along, it's nowhere near done, I tell myself I'll have it done by 10:00 ish.

10:00 comes along, it's closer to being finished, but it's still not there. Maybe by midnight.

It's midnight, I'm getting tired, yet I still have a ways to go with the paper. Maybe by 1:30.

1:30 comes along, my writing is horrible by now, screw this, it'll be done by 3:00.

I just now finished the paper. F*ck rereading, screw revising, and editing sucks.

I know I'm not the only one who does this either.

I have pulled countless all-nighters, finish my papers sometimes at like 8-10am. Just the daily grind of a college student, we'll survive.

If you are writing a major college research paper and only spending 4 hours on it.....it is guaranteed to be crap or it is a fluff course.

I wouldn't say it's a major paper. Final paper for a basic level course. Granted, the paper was horrible, but it's not a paper that's gonna determine my future.

And 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM is 13 hours. But I see what you're saying.
