Hey Cam Newton, stop worrying so much about The Golden Calf of Bristol and start winning some games!

I think u need to state that to the fan who started this thread. One really doubt Cam is sitting around watching tapes of The Golden Calf of Bristol's games to get an idea of how to win.

He knows why this team is sucking so badly...Too bad the reality is overlooked by so many fans.

the point is he HAS experience, you said he didnt. Just because it's 3 games doesnt mean you can forget it.

after all, what would we ever do without decleater's input and where would he ever post were it not for this thread comparing The Golden Calf of Bristol to newton?

to me there is NO comparison. The Golden Calf of Bristol is a game manager type thrower who is best in a 2 minute, hurry up style of offense while Cam Newton is starting to look like a gunslinger type of QB. Both can run, sure, both are big yes, both went to Florida, but other than that, no comparison. The Golden Calf of Bristol has a funky throwing motion, BUT is clutch and runs a 2 minute offense almost to perfection it seems. i think The Golden Calf of Bristol is a better runner, but if you put him in Carolina, we lose ALOT still. The Golden Calf of Bristol cant play defense, yes he's helping the defense out, but the Broncos better talent on defense than Carolina does.

Remember this, i LIKE The Golden Calf of Bristol. i WANT him to be as good or better than Newton as a passer because i like how The Golden Calf of Bristol acts off the field. i like hearing about his faith (unlike others), but as a passer, he's not Newton.

Cam "looks like a gunslinger" because his offense is unbelievably LOADED. Which is why his defense stinks. So if you make his defense better his offense will be worse.. and he will still lose.

The Golden Calf of Bristol is the opposite.. his defense is loaded and he has a terrible offense around him. And a coach that is clueless offensively. Cam would be so screwed on the Broncos it would be comical. He wouldn't last a week as starter. look how bad he was in preseason. Any other decent QB and Cam is never made the starter..

First off, the offense is NOT unbelievably LOADED. he has Smith as his WR, yes, good one, he has two TEs, but one is not young anymore and two backs. other than that, come on??? LaFell?? i rather have Eric Decker or Royal as my 2nd WR than him. SECOND, his defense does NOT stink due to his offense, that is just odd logic, real odd. his defense stinks because the DTs are Fua and McClain and his cornerbacks arent really special either. the Broncos DTs are Thomas (who's not bad) and Bunkley (also not bad) and both of them make those rookies look awful. Bunkley was a good trade for Denver and he's been helping them stop the run.

First off, if Newton was on Denver, he would never have lost Lloyd. Second, he would be the starter and Third IT'S PRE-Season!!!!! those games do NOT count and as i recall The Golden Calf of Bristol was the 3rd stringer in preseason.

      100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
