Just some thoughts as I crack my first beer (moved from 1pm this year to 12pm)...seems to be pretty dead here come game time for some reason. This can be made into the game day thread if need be.

The Lions (IMO) are the hardest team left on our schedule. Do you think a win here could push us to win out the season? Or maybe just lose one game and be 7-9? The only game out of reach after that will be Texans. The Bucs most likely won't be playing for real and neither will the Saints, because by then they'll have the division. Maybe even the Texans too at that point.

Momentum makes such a difference and I can't help but think if we had won that Green Bay game (went on to Jaguars defeat) we would not be here at 2-7.

To be honest I won't be too upset if we lose to the Lions compared to the other teams this year. They deserve something, and it was only matter of time for sucking most of the last decade and always having a top 5 pick. We think 2-14 was bad but the Lions were at the point of being the second team in history to go winless, and that was after a season like our 2-14 one.
