Armanti Edwards Progression Thread

I never understood the reasoning behind bitching about failed picks. The draft is a lottery. Typically 2-3 players from a single draft class are still with the team after 4-5 years.

Greg Hardy looks great. LaFell is coming along and Gettis showed promise last season. Pike and Robert McClain are gone and Clausen won't be staying. Stanford and Norwood currently are depth at best (though I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a troll here that'll lead a witch hunt against them). Edwards has shown more improvement than the half of the draft class. Hopefully it'll be enough next year to start producing.

But anyways, herp derp we could've had a 2nd. Yea, and you could've had a V8 instead of the AIDS :/

No reason to use logic and reason.

Thanks.

No reason to use logic and reason.

Thanks.

AE was a QB in college - FACT

AE faced lesser talent in college - FACT

AE doesn't see the field as a WR - FACT

AE is towards the bottom of the league as a PR - FACT

AE is a project in a league full of season veterans at their position - FACT

Just a few factors that support my logic and reasoning.

I am just frustrated that he hasn't seen the field, at all. Seriously, why not throw the guy out there and give him some looks?

We know Smitty is effective. We know that both Olsen and Shockey can be effective. We are aware of what Lafell has been able to do, as well as LA. DWill and JStew are well known. All of these players have been seen on the offense.

Haven't seen AE out there, at all! Pilares, either. Haven't even seen any 4-5 WR sets at all. All 3 WR sets, 2 TE sets.

What I am saying, and what other people have said, is that this team has no light at the end of the tunnel this season. It is over. Why not try some new things, be creative, and give some players some GD opportunities? There is, LITERALLY, nothing to lose by putting AE or Pilares in the offense.

Just doooooit already.

None of your FACTS dispute a single point in the post that I was commenting on but are appreciated nonetheless.

errrr...uhhhhh...he's not produced...he's had like one decent run back on a punt return, everything else is like 5 yards, 3 yards, 1 yard. I'm sorry, this dude is just not a nfl calibur anything, I am really wondering why he hasn't been let go

because it's his rookie season and we gave up a 2nd round pick for him.
