Did anyone buy AMR at $.26 a share?

I bought in at $.40 Monday and got out yesterday at $.75. Now it is at $.91? Anyone in the know no why it is still going up, they are filing Chapter 11? I thought I did pretty good yesterday and now its up 30% again...

99% of the time its is given a new ticker. Still doesnt explain up 60% 2 straight days and tripled in a week.?? Crazy market

They reissue new share so the ones now are useless. Sure you can play around right now but I wouldnt play to long. AMR is in real trouble but they wont go away just need to restructure and get rid of some debt. Their biggest problem is pension which unlike other airlines they cant dump onto the US government.

The time for play has passed down 25% today. Still not back to where I got out at but it will hit bottom so take what youve got and sell.

Halliburton stock looks like a good buy right now for a less risky investment, but I'll have to read up on them some more.

Airlines are either boom or bust. When they are making money they are gold mines. But once they start having trouble they can lose millions easy. Worst business in the world to be in.

LUV will most likely go to $5 before they are able to right the ship. There pilots make more money than alot of the other majors. They will be asked to restructor their payscale in the next couple of months.

Then you have ALK (alaska Airlines) trading at 68.50. While the others are trading less then 10. They are supposed to be a takeover target. Wouldnt touch them to save my life.

Was Alska air one of the companies that went Chapter 11 and didnt change the ticker. I read about a couple that have done that. That would be a 1000 bet you could retire on.

I hate myself i bought shares of VW @10 a share weekly from sharebuilder but i screwed up and stopped my account during my divorce forgot about it and i went back to check it a year later and VW was @100 a share i only had 7 shares i could be rich today
