Finding sound drivers

formatted my computer and I can't find the drivers for my sound.. what to do?

Soundmax.. was too lazy to open it up and find out the exact model, I guess that'll be a big help huh...

Yeah, you need to know the make of your card, unless it's on the motherboard, then you can find the drivers.

I'm surprised it's still running.. insane amount of dust inside.. anyhow, I got it from here. seems I thought I heard about a program that looks that info up for you.

Once you find all the proper drivers and get them installed i suggest you look up a program called driver genius. It backs up all of you drivers for every piece of hardware installed in and connected to your computer into one fill that installs them all. I have mine saved on my backup harddrive because I'm a nerd and I format my computer a few times every year.
