Why we don't hear about players visiting charlotte...

but we already know a lot of the players the panthers have been looking at..

Or we think we do.

Every year there are stories about who we're scouting.

And every year, we draft someone else, sometimes even when those guys are still available.

The only players that I can remember hearing such stories about who actually ended up on roster were Julius Peppers (duh) and Eric Shelton (doh) :sosp:

Mr Scot replied better than I would have. And if anyone thinks a team is going to jump in front of another just to "take a player" hasn't the slightest clue about this conversation anyhow.

If you want a player and a team jumps in front, it's because that team wants the player too. Not because they want to "steal" anything.

You know I love you man, but if you don't think that happens, them you have a foot stuck in unreality, really!...

But......if you haven't broadcast your intentions then they set back and wait their turn and don't get him. You don't ever show your hand. Mel Kiper might guess right once and awhile but, he really has no clue who you will actually pick.

I said it does happen. But not just to "steal" a player for the sake of stealing them. A team who jumps in front of another sincerely wants that player. I find it hard to believe they are going to jump in front of another team just to take a player who they didn't really want. and yes, I love you to man. :cheers2:

Not sure I followed all that, but I think I agree. Ya never show your hand. If you don't broadcast who you want, other teams naturally will hope a player falls into their lap. If they do know and they want that player and you have let the world know who you want, then teams who want said player will indeed jump infront to steal them. The brilliant thing is our FO is smart enough to set up decoys....

Now, understand this is a very basic idea that is much more complex in the NFL world. Propaganda isn't a black and white subject when it comes to the NFL Draft...

OK, just a matter of semantics. I never was contending that they "stole" the player, just that they jumped in front to take a player they wanted to keep us from getting him. Let's just say they were motivated...

    • Rich people who collect Health are indeed a surprising type of leaders. It's so exciting to see it but I have no doubt that this is clear enough. Where can rookies scare up striking Health recipes? I'm working on it at this time. This would be friggin' stupid if it freaked out others. Take this information very seriously. I still hadn't found anyone to tell me with respect to this sticky situation.   https://groups.google.com/g/actiflow-prostate-health/c/3csTfO4T70g https://ocsheriff.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/5837affc-861d-ef11-a295-001dd804e445 https://bhaprod.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/6f1364f6-861d-ef11-a295-001dd80948b1 https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/chromium-reviews/c/k6H8LBL14zY https://groups.google.com/g/synogut-price/c/gk7Vuy_kDR0 https://ocsheriff.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/590538e2-881d-ef11-a295-001dd804e445 https://bhaprod.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/387bb1e3-881d-ef11-a295-001dd80948b1 https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/chromium-reviews/c/lnNwUSvAjwk https://groups.google.com/g/kerassentials-cost/c/5SLLeAVxU74 https://ocsheriff.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/e1d45d45-8a1d-ef11-a295-001dd804e445 https://bhaprod.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/a1266d43-8a1d-ef11-a295-001dd80948b1 https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/chromium-reviews/c/gVH8Ltoz_4Q  https://groups.google.com/g/pineal-guardian-brain-support/c/DRkldCEbe3w https://ocsheriff.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/e24acabb-7c1d-ef11-a295-001dd804e445 https://bhaprod.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/cecad6bd-7c1d-ef11-a295-001dd80948b1 https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/chromium-reviews/c/dnrUDyelUG8 https://groups.google.com/g/gutoptim-review/c/NYvnYEUQV4w https://ocsheriff.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/09b1fdad-8d1d-ef11-a295-001dd804e445 https://bhaprod.dynamics365portals.us/forums/support-forum/9381c5ae-8d1d-ef11-a295-001dd80948b1 https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/chromium-reviews/c/_LRPsonxaPk
    • Bryce Young shows significant improvement. (Mimics Stroud's rookie season numbers).
    • I want the conversations at season's end to be more about what else we need to build onto the foundation to be playoff contenders and less about the fultility of drafting yet another QB and hiring yet another coach because as long as Tepper is the owner, it doesn't matter what this team does.
