Thanks guys... yeah this is for a work computer... one of my guys is in need of a new PC badly, and we want to go Win7 64 bit. We've got two of these here that someone else built, but ima try it myself.

Graphics wise, we're sticking his Geforce FX3700 card he's already got with an Acer monitor for 3D stereo viewing (we do 3D mapping) so that's already taken care of. Putting 16GB of RAM in it too to be able to deal with large images and LiDAR data sets.

Hopefully I can put it together... stuff's supposed to be here today.

Yeah it's an H7... got all the parts from Newegg...

Here's the case...

Put an Intel i7-950 quad core 3.06Ghz and 16 GB of DDR3 in it with a 2GB SATA 6.0Gb/s HDD.

Should be a hot system if I can get it to run... it's installing Win7 64-bit now... so at least it powered up...

Surprised at how quickly it all went together...

The only problem so far is that the CD eject button isn't working? If I pry the case lid open and hit the drive eject, it works... maybe that button hasn't been activated for some reason? Any ideas?

When I got my bluray burner I had this issue, take the drive out and look at the back side of the case button. There should be a sliding "button pusher" on the other side that affects where the strike point is. Fuss with it until it hits the disc drive eject button.

At least that is if yours is like mine. It's a mechanical piece that pushes the drive's eject button, not an electrical button. If your drive's button does not line up with the case's button at all, you may need to try a different drive.

Cool I'll try that...

I did a work around with a desktop gadget that ejects the disc... software solution ftw!

I can't believe it but the damn thing is purring like a kitten... put the Geforce FX in it and got all the software and stereo imagery working. I impressed myself... but it was really as easy as u said.

    • I turned to the NFL Network and they are playing the Wildcard Game against the Rams I think we gained a lot of respect around the league we hung in there for a while into the 4th Quarter 🙂
    • Does anyone know for sure if the game tonite will be on HBO max?  That is where I watched the last one and only access I currently have- I am in SE NC and no broadcast stations carry the games.😖
    • take a  look around the league at other young Qb's such as Drake Maye , Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix , CJ Stroud  & Caleb Williams who at the time like Bryce Young they also were drafted by teams with a losing record .the only difference with these Qb's is after joining their teams with a losing record they led those same teams to a winning record in a very short period of time .it's simply what you call a game changer & or elite Qb's & then take a  look at  the other side of the coin you have Qb's such as Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Justin Fields  & Anthony Richardson also like Bryce Young all first round picks who instead of winning either did not play or led their teams to a losing record while playing  Bryce Young who has an overall record of 14-30 & wildly inconsistent & never in the history of the NFL has a Qb 5'10" or shorter had a successful carrer as Qb in the NFL  if anything history is telling you exactly what ?..just saying
