So Tebow will be considered the "hero" of that game...

No.

True that Jake's passing was one of the most bizarre things in the NFL but he was doing that week in and week out. A fluke, as people are using the term here, is something that rarely happens.

Unless you can recall several other games against high ranking defenses where The Golden Calf of Bristol had numbers similar to last night, its a fluke thus far.

Fwiw, Jake had some petty decent talent around him in Steve Smith, Moose, Proehl, Davis and a pretty good offensive line. Probable a better lineup than The Golden Calf of Bristol has.

Oh I would agree. Its just that somehow Jake managed to put that rainbow, catapult arch pass dead on week in & week out. Granted he got it picked off a lot too, but I'm just amazed it worked as often as it did.

Now I'm similarly amazed that The Golden Calf of Bristol is able to pull off a win as often as he does (not quite so much since the reason, teams going prevent, is there) but this is only the second time as I recall it was his play throughout the game that got the win.

As a believer, I'm highly insulted at how Tim has allowed the media to use him to mock the Christian faith. Yeah, Tim is elevated to a level that he shouldn't want to be and in the meantime, the Christain faith is once again being laughed at.

Remind me again, how many souls have Tim brough to Christ since the media has been placing him on the highest pedlestal and using him as the "miracle child that God is blessing?"

    • Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
