You mean that crazy look in your eye when two guys are coming at you and you feel you need to defend yourself?? FFS the elbow was uncalled for but now we're going to take shots at Metta because he was getting ready for the retaliation he thought was coming? Give me a break. As far as how long he'll be suspended....I say about 5 games.

Lol defend himself? If he wouldn't have gone off the deep end and elbowed Hardin, he wouldn't have had to defend himself. Hardin didn't do a thing to deserve that...Metta is just batsh*t crazy. What possessed him to even throw the elbow? He needs to be examined before he's allowed back on the court. I'm usually on the players side in a lot of situations, but he needs to be suspended for more than 5 games.

I think what C47 is saying is that the elbow to Harden was unnecessary and any punishment he receives is deserved. But he feels that Artest was just getting ready to defend/fight back if Ibaka came at him. I can understand that but he did look crazy but then again that's just Artest.

Big game for the Jazz tonight, can clinch the 8th spot. They are plying the Suns who are currently in 9th place. It's on TNT at 10:30. I'll be staying up to watch.

The Jazz intrigue me when they use their big lineup of Millsap [sF], Favors [PF], Jefferson [C]. They are beastly down low with this lineup. If they make the playoffs they'll face the Spurs. Last year the Spurs had a bad matchup with the Grizzlies because of their bigs. Not necessarily comparing last years Spurs to this years or think the Utah will upset them but it's an intriguing matchup.

I like the Jazz. My boy Hayward has had a decent sophomore year, averaging 12 a game, but I want the Suns to win this tonight. It would force both these teams playoff fates to be determined on the final day, with the Suns being able to determine their own fate.
