I wonder if Deangelo will go after a contract like Jones Drew recieved(4 years at 8.2 mil). Maybe we will get lucky and lock up our tandem for about 10-12 mil a year.

If DeAngelo keeps up the 1,500 yard, 20 touchdown seasons... you guys better look to pay 8-10kk a year alone to keep him in Carolina. Stewart is basically going to keep the same type of contract as he's the backup.

Yup and if he does score 20 again, better count on forking out money that you guys don't have to keep him a Panther. I see a drop off in production from last year as it'll be tougher this season to put up those same stats.

I think he will have a drop from last year, but Stewart will pick up the slack with flying colors.

Stewart should stay even at 700 yards but I can see maybe 6-7 touchdowns. More realistically I can see DeAngelo having a 12 touchdown, 1,300+ yard season.

Very hard for any back to repeat those kinda numbers he had.

JP won't be on the books next year for the 20 mill or whatever he would be due if we franchised him. Hopefully we can get a deal done before then but either way we will have plenty so sign Deangelo.
