Pats fans reactions

Just looked at the Patriots forum (not trolling just reading) and here was a few threads:

Wes Welker cost us the game. Dump him.

Tom Brady cost us the game. Time to draft a new QB.

The defense cost us the game. Blow the whole team up.

Now I realize emotions run high after a SB loss and our forum would probably be no better but is still crazy some of the reactions from people. Never mind your team would not even be in SB without Brady and Welker. They almost won it too at the end....A healthy Gronk may have made that rebound catch in the endzone. I can only hope we get so jaded with success to make such nutty statements.

After the last one, someone tried to get up a petition to reverse the result based on the circumstances surrounding a late game time stoppage they thought was improper.

Wow. Never heard that one before. They should look back and see how many breaks went their way in previous SB's. You have to be good and somewhat lucky to win a SB. It's tough.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
