The point is, if they are a fan of the player, they aren't wasting their time rooting for his team because he plays for them. The team's success is an extension of the players success. Your argument doesn't make any fuging sense. Who exactly are they supposed to root for in your opinion?

I wasn't telling anyone anything. I was simply saying they shouldn't waste their time being a fan of a team they don't really care about if it wasn't for one player, because that payer has a probability of failure that could lead to just that.

Learn to read. I didn't say they should leave if they were here for Newton; I said if they're just here for Newton AND if something were to happen that would effect his ability to be taken seriously as starter or if he were to have a rough patch would jump off, THEN, they should leave.

I'm not going to say that you're not real Panther's fans, but you would be advised to do a litttle research on our history and consider the fact that Cam may not exactly be the perfect quarterback you believe him to be. Smitty, to me, has carried the franchise through some turbulant times. He is my favorite panther all time but Cam is going to be hard to ignore after his 2nd superbowl ring.

I was really hoping that Eric Staal playing for the Hurricanes would give us a foothold into Thunder Bay, Ontario, but the Argonaugts just have to much pull there to get anything going. fugin hoosers.
