You'll hear various things about Ingram that may have you thinking that he's more of a rotational defender, thus presenting lower overall draft value. But more than any player in this draft class, the common complaints can be eradicated by even a cursory look at the game tape. Short arms? Check the tape, and see how he compensates. One-year starter? Watch the tape, and see him explode off of either end and inside in multiple formations in more than one season. Some teams may not see him as an ideal fit, based on their own physical requirements or schematic constraints. Watch the tape and see elements that would help any defense, no matter the playbook.

Watch the tape. It's as simple as that. And when you're done, you may see Ingram as the cornerstone of an NFL defense. The evidence is easy to spot.

      Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.

      Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.

      Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
