Less desirables?

fat-albert.jpg

I wear baggy clothes, listen to rap and hang with what some will consider less desirables!!!!!!

Sure your folks are proud.

Surrounding yourself with people who dont challenge you to be a better a person or have high character will only bring you down and limit your ability to be successful. You'll learn that with age, hopefully. It took me a little time to realize it as well.

I know it's hard for these guys to cut off people from their past, but sometimes the hardest decisions to make are the best ones for you.

I can promise u that everyone on here had some friends or people they knew in high school who were considered "cool" or popular because they fooled around with drugs or skipped school or were the "bad boy" everyone wanted to hang out with. News flash ten years later they aren't doing sh1t with their lives or work paycheck to paycheck with no future, no woman, no real friends.

PS being a fan of rap music doesn't make you a thug. Extemely ignorant statement from you. I enjoy rap music. Sadly, most of the crap now is very very close to unlistenable.

Quote from Profootball talk:

"Beyond Fairley and Leshoure, seventh-round tackle Johnny Culbreath was busted for marijuana posssesion, and second-round receiver Titus Young (who perhaps would benefit from the mellowing effects of marijuana) was barred from OTAs for busting a teammate, Steve Smith style. To make matters worse for Young, Birkett writes that the second-year wideout was lollygagging during Phase One of the offseason program, when most of the coaching staff was absent."

Really Steve Smith, how did he get in this?

I don't see either of these idiots as thugs... just idiots...

Plus, by the looks of this picture, Jamarcus is much smarter than you guys give him credit for. What with the price of gold, that's quite a sound investment hanging around his neck right there. That'll keep him in cough syrup for years to come.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
