It feels like training camp is shorter than usual. Certainly less practice. Darn CBA! I have a question about the play60 event for you parents out there. I have a 4 year old. Is she old enough to participate or is it more for older kids? She really wants to go but I know she will get bored if all we do is watch football.

I can't wait, training camp is one of my favorite times of year. Hope springs eternal. We will hear about some guy from Midwest Mississippi State who raised his momma. Love it.

Does anyone have details about the Fan Fest? Looks like a later start. Wondering if they will mix things up a bit.

FYI bounce houses and 4 year olds don't mix

Can't believe I forgot to include info about Panther Pals -- the program I run!

It's for kids ages 6 to 13. Registration is free (but must fill out a new registration each day; it doesn't carry over). Five names are randomly selected and kids get a Panther Pal T-shirt, are escorted to a special viewing area at field level to watch part of practice, then are matched with a player after practice for autographs, etc. Kids can take one parent/guardian (age 18 or older) with them.

Panther Pals will be held Monday-Friday (July 30-Aug. 3 and Aug. 6-10) plus Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 13 and 14. (Subject to change or cancellation without notice; if practice is moved to Gibbs Stadium, Panther Pals will NOT be held.)

It's not shorter, but cutting the two-a-days does make a difference. I'm checking on ages for Play 60. Will post.
