I have a bad feeling

I feel sorry for him and all. But this subject has been brought up before. I'm going to say this again like I had in the past. These players have no right to sue the NFL for what happens on the field. These guys get paid millions every year and upon that get great medical benefits from the NFL as well. But yet they want to sue because of the head injuries. Smh!! From day one when they started playing in the NFL that they new how dangerous this game would be. So again they should have no right to sue. Do you see our men and women who get hurt over seas on the battle field come back home and sue the U.S. Government for their injuries? No they don't. This is just spoiled rich ass players gone broke and now trying to get more out of the NFL. Sorry but this will never hold up in court one bit. Screw these greedy losers.

Yes, it happens.

The lawsuit will hinge on whether the Bucs and NFl misled the players by minimizing the risks. They have to show that the NFL was negligent. That is a tall order at this point considering much of the information about this is very recent. Plus they have to show that the NFl play caused the damage rather than just contributed with the majority caused by other factors.

What about HS and College. All going to get by because they sign waivers? You have no idea how many people from around the country will join lawsuits agains the "government" by suing schools at some point.

Like I said before, some schools already discussing the stoppage of football programs due to injury. If High Schools and Colleges are impacted, you know the NFL will suffer also.

    • Nina King continues to run circles around the rest of college basketball. She's been ahead of the curve on everything, and is the biggest reason for Duke's success post-K IMO. I think Scheyer is great at many things, but Duke went into the NIL era 100% ready whereas everyone else was playing catchup.
    • Happy they won convincingly instead of letting them hang around. Montreal is cooked, and rather than play hockey, they've decided to take some really cheap shots at guys. I get a player may feel a need to set the tone, and I understand how that works. But to 2-hand cross check someone intentionally in the face, to have a guy down on the ice and put his head into the ice with a stick, to just start punching anyone who gets within arm's reach- that's not setting the tone. That is nothing short of playing dirty.  That said, the Canes.... oh boy. They could have run this score to 6-0 with half a power play. It's embarrassing how bad the PP is. If the Canes go to the Cup finals against a team who scores at least 1 goal per game on the PP, they'll lose the close games because of the lack of results on the PP.
    • Because he knows they are winning the cup. And I fully support his decision.
