Really Good MKG Training Video

Recommended Posts

Even his jumpshot has a speech impediment. Christ that thing is ugly.

ah well,  here's to improvement.

Go Cats

He holds the ball a split second too long. That's it.

It comes from the same "hitch" that has plagued LeBron through his career: they palm the ball when shooting, instead of keeping it solely on the fingertips.

And there's no way his jump shot is as bad as Rondo's and I'd take Rondo over any PG in the league.

Rondo, James, Wade, Rose, etc. They all excel in other offensive facets of the game which is how they overcome poor shooting strokes. MKG doesnt have the handles that the aforementioned guys had even when coming.

the only thing going for him offensively is his post game, which is pretty solid. Just take a look at gerald henderson, another defensive wing of ours. his offensive game will never reach that next level because his iso play is garbage, he has no handles, and can barely dribble penetrate.

If MKG is anything like Gerald or Iggy, he will struggle a good portion of his early career just to become an AVERAGE offensive player.

Bobcats basically drafted a high energy defensive guy with a #2 pick. Im particularly annoyed at that.

This is what other "real Ballers" call a Ballerholic.

What in the hell are you trying to prove here?

I just think he's trying to point out that in your disappointment with the pick you are failing to properly evaluate the player. MKG is not a great ball handler, but he is certainly better than what you are giving him credit for. He will also get much better. Another facet of his game that you severely underrate is his lightning quick first step and his blazing speed and strength in the open floor. He will be out running NBA stars up and down the court for big plays for years to come. I can't wait for people around here to start realizing that.

I watched Kentucky play maybe 4-5 times this year not counting march madness. Every game I watched MKG attacked the rim like he was pissed off.

Like Bismack he is still so young. The plan is that if he will be serviceable on the offensive end. The hope is that if he improves his offensive game to go with his speed/athleticsm he could be something real special.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
