Who are the top weakest teams for 2012?

Who are the weakest teams in the 2012-2013 season? Who are we, the Charlotte Bobcats going to compete with to capture the No.1 pick in 2013?

Go ahead and cross out the Hornets, Wizards, Cavaliers, and Warriors (teams who drafted in the top 7 in 2012). These four teams are deemed to be better this season and who could seriously contends to earn a playoffs' spot.

-Hornets has Eric Gordon, Anthony Davis, Austin Rivers, and Ryan Anderson

-Wizards have made some nice addition with Beal, Okafor, and Ariza to add with John Wall and Nene

-Cavaliers, if rumors are true and Howard is traded to LA. Then they will receive Bynum and def be a serious contender.

-Warriors has great shooters and a few big nice men to go in the paint.

With the recent additions in FA, this roster has looked better on paper than last year team. We may have a tough time trying to land the top pick next year, even if we tried to tank it. Bc seriously I think there are two teams in competition with us to land the top pick.

1. Houston Rockets

2. Orlando Magic

3. Charlotte Bobcats

Houston has looked terrible. Letting all their core guys leave by trades, amnesty, or etc. All three of their rookies are probably going to have major minutes next year. Even with Linsanity in town, they will probably be worst than us this upcoming season.

The Magic will definitely be worst than us, if they decides to trade Howard at some point and they will trade him at some point. They have no one on that roster and is up for a big rebuilding mode with Howard's desire to leave.

Im always looking into the future, but just wanted to know what's everyone's take on it. Who do yall think will be worst than us???

The Kings, Raptors, and Magic will be weak along with the Bobcats and Rockets.

I can't quite figure why the Kings are so bad even when the have 2-3 quality players on the team. Are they just too young or just the system that is killing them?

I think the bobcats would be pretty damn decent if we have both Tyreke and Cousins on the team.

For the Raptors, I think they will be better than people think next year. They added Lowery and Landry Fields. And don't they have this international kid coming this year? They could make they playoffs if Calderon stay.

Other than the Bobcats,

Pistons

Warriors

Blazers

Cavs

Kings

I'd be surprised if one of those teams doesnt get the #1 pick next year, though the Bucks, Magic, and Wizards are a trade/ injury away from joining them

I have to disagree with you on that. The Warriors have quite a few quality players in their starting 5 and they're going to put a lot of points on the board. Same with the Blazers and Cavs as long as Kyrie stays healthy. The Pistons and Kings haven't improved much but both have some good young guys.

I still think the Bobcats may be the least talented team in the league.

I could see the Warriors making a run, but the West is gonna be good and they have no shot at making the playoffs. I think that, like last year, they are going to realize the futility of going for wins and stop trying. Also I think Curry's injury problems are worse than the team is letting on, and they will be relying big time on Bogut to come back from his ankle injury too.

The Blazers have, Lamarcus Aldridge and not much else. Not impressed by their roster, with no shot of the playoffs out west I think they give their 2 rookies big minutes and lose a bunch as a result.

The Cavs are not good. I think Waiters was a bad pick, as was Tristan Thomson. Kyrie isnt good enough to carry the team himself.

I wont argue with you about the Bobcats, they will certainly be in contention for the #1 pick, which is probably best in the long run

I'm not saying the Cavs are good, I'm saying a healthy Kyrie Irving is worth more wins than anyone on Charlotte's roster.

    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
    • Guessing the price is too rich here given the injury history.  2024 was brutal and production dropped off in 2025 with a few more injuries (albeit rough qb play).    Don’t really understand the narrative that Young can’t benefit from talented upgrades on offense. Especially here with respect to a tight end. Any QB will benefit from talented receivers that threaten the top of coverage and tight ends with skills to stress zone.    The age and injury history, coupled with what he’s likely asking, just probably means we can better spend that money elsewhere.
