"Like I said before, I have matured a lot and my game has also. I think I am one of the best playmakers in the league. I think I’m the best point guard in the league." - Rajon Rondo

Rondo has recently said he believe he is the best point guard in the league. What do everyone think? Probably not the best "yet", but I certainly believe he is the 2nd best PG behind Chris Paul. Sure, hes not as great of a jumpshooter compare to DWill, Westbrook, etc but hes an assists machine. I love the way Rondo play his game, and hes only getting better as a jumpshooter. People tends to say that even they can play PG for the Celtics if they have KG, Pierce, and Allen. But I think his game has really mature over the years. And he has actually become a main piece on that team behind KG for the Celtics. Rondo was the main reason why the Celtics was even respectable in 2010 and this year. No one come back and play a game after they dislocate their elbow, but only Rondo. He was the reason why the Celtics even made it to game 7 vs. the Heat this year.

Right now imo, Rondo is the 2nd best PG in the league, but could easily make a run ahead of CP3 of being the best PG in the near future.

Rose is the best point guard in the game. The Bulls went from contender to pretender without him.

I love Rose but he's no way the best PG "yet". In two years, yes he could very well end up being the best.

Contender to pretender? What do you say about the Hornets and CP3 then?

    • Look, I've been pounding on the Canales shouldn't be calling the offensive plays thing since last year. He's first off, not very versatile and makes Ron Rivera look like a master of mid-game adjustments. Also, because I think you really, really need to be calling the offensive plays from the booth with a better view of the whole field.  A coach on the field cannot grasp how the opposing sideline WR is doing in coverage while also checking the two receivers on his side, plus keep up with how the line is doing and if the RB is in the groove. Heck, for the line alone he doesn't have the best view of where the RB is going to see success and how to best exploit it. Hence Rico saying, Yo coach, keep running this.  Still, all these things in there, no matter how hard I'm banging on that drum, I can't let it drown out my joy in getting one of those rare Ws. Even coaches can learn and grow from them. I sure hope he will.
    • I fully understand the questioning of Dave and BY, just the timing of your concerns is my problem. NFL is ultra hard to pull off the perfect game. In all my years Ive never seen a HC have the perfect game plan and have great play call after great play call.  Tmac has helped in every game, honestly more than I thought he was going to show. It does look like he was in fact the reason to trade AT and allow Tamc to feast on his targets. I have re-watched the wins, I have seen Tmac get red zone looks. Brother, he's about the 80-90% of passing attack. Dave is young inexperienced HC and he's learning on the job, hope he improves along with BYs confidence.    Its going to be alllllll right, trust me as your co-pilot.
    • You cannot hate his character, but he is holding the team back. There is so much we can't do because of his limitations. It just is what it is
