What on Earth was going through Hurney's and Fox's minds when they drafted Clausen?

Did he get us Newton? Or did Fox's fail? Or did the team that turned down a trade with Hurney for Clausen that would have picked Cam? Or maybe just thank Cam's parents they seem like the source for Cam....

Doesn't work like that. Hurney took a chance on Cam for two major reasons: Cap in place, Rivera wanted him. Simple as that. Clausen is a different story. Hurney obviously does better guided by a coach and scheme. In the end Cam was a success call and Clausen was a fail call. And one had much more to do with Hurney than the other.

      All I can say is... I have some happiness off the rags choking and losing to the Panthers. Hopefully the Western conference team wins the Stanley cup, but now I can be 100% uninvested in the playoffs
