John Fox Gets a 15-Yard Penalty

15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty for throwing a challenge flag on an un-reviewable play. Then the replacement refs stop the game, a league rep on the sidelines tells the ref to reverse the penalty and the refs then take the penalty off the board.

For what they have or haven't been given, I think the replacement ref's will suffice. I mean, when has a fan ever said "boy, the ref's sure looked good out there today"? I don't feel bad for anyone who is disappointed because they expected more from them or are just looking for something to complain about.

It's not just Fox. Most NFL coaches don't know which plays and which plays aren't reviewable. Anyone who regularly watches NFL games should be aware of this. A 15 yard penalty for the coaches ignorance seems a bit harsh but these people are professionals. They should know the rules.
