What are bucs fans saying?

I live in Tampa, and Tampa is my team, for better, or worse.

But I really like the Panthers too. In fact, if you read my posts, you will see that I picked the Panthers to win the division this year.

How is that Big Tackle Kalil working out for you guys ? He was one dominate SOB in College at USC.

Tampa needed linebackers, and many of us wanted to pick Kuechly, but we also needed safety help, and got Mark Barron.

Okay, so it turns out you're a decent guy. No more smack.

As to Kalil, our Kalil is the center and he's been with us a few years. You are thinking of his brother, Matt, who was drafted by the Vikes at #4.

Yes, we have a lot riding on Freeman. He once did really well, and made several 4th quarter comebacks, then he was poo. I have no delusions that he is Cam Newton, or that he will ever be.

But he has to play better, for us to be competitive once again.

The key is he the guy we saw last year or the guy from 2010, honestly I think he is somewhere in between, a guy who will be good but not great.

Lived in Brandon from 1976 to 1979 as a kid. Loved it down there. All we did was play baseball year-round.

Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, we are going to kick the Fuc's ass.

You have a nice day. :)

They can be Panther fans all they want, doesnt mean I have to respect them.

These are the same fans that if Cam was to get hurt would abandon the stadium, station, and their limited edition Cam Gatorade bottles before Derek could step on to the field.

Me, no thats not me. I watched Jimmy, I watched Testeverde, I watched Rodney Peete. I rooted for all of them.

Lets hope they turn into Panthers fans, and arent just Cam fans.

Not giving anyone respect for which NFL team they like is being an immature douche-fuging-bag.

I can respect that.

Some of us where here for the 1-15 and 2-14 seasons.

Some came with Cam. I cant respect that.

My Dad is from Loudon, Tenn, outside of Knoxville. Dad sold the farm, moved up to Dee Troit to work in in the auto factory. I moved here to Tampa in 1971, so the Bucs are my team. Regardless, I picked the Panthers to win the division.

Any of you Country Boys ever see a Deer in the road at night, when the headlights hit him ?

There is an expression of surprise and fear in the eyes of a Deer.

Well, I see that same expression on Josh Freeman, sorry to say.

He makes me nervous, just watching him.

He WAS "the chit" his rookie year, but last year was scary.

WE will never win with a "me too" QB, not when our competitors have Cam Newton and Drew Brees!

Josh telegraphs his throws, does not read defenses very well, and can be a wild child, as far as accuracy goes.

LOL, he "deserves" to be on Tampa. People here in Tampa wonder IF we are that 10 and 6 team, or that bunch of quitters, from last year.

Sunday's Game, win or lose, will tell us a lot about ourselves.

OMG, I thought you guys got Kalil, in the last draft!

I was sort of wondering why a rookie would take a full page ad out, predicting a super bowl.

Thanks for setting me straight!

I have seen it, he gets wide eyed under pressure and panics Jimmy Clausen does the same thing only much worse.

Also Freeman was terrible his rookie year (2009) he threw 10 tds and 18 picks.

No offense but its funny how many bucs fans think last season was Freeman's second year.

Sunday is almost here!

    • I used to think Juan was a Zod alt. Agree he's a great poster.
    • Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.
    • Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
