Revolution, kind of a Jerico reboot

Much more Sci-Fi than Jerico. Similar vein tho.

Little things about the show are going to make me pull my hair out.

Why does her crossbow shoot backwards ?

It's a Reverse Draw crossbow. It is just a fad going on in the hunting industry. They aren't better than regular crossbows, except for the fact that you have to either be Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime or the Incredible Hulk to draw it back with just your hands, like Charlie does.(unless she's on the juice) That is what's bugging me the most so far. I know it's petty, but it really bugged me that a girl that looks like she only weighs 105 lbs can draw back a crossbow that almost tore my arms off trying to draw it back.

WHAT!! now you're gonna make me go back and watch that scene!! can you tell it's you??

what about the style did you not like?? What would you change?

Well for one it was shot WAY to close to their faces. All the close ups was weird.

Second The scenes didn't feel "full" enough. I know people will say I just wanted facetime, but I honestly dont give a poo. There were like 300 people in that market scene, it didn't look like a market on TV it looked like a small gathering.

They had lots of bodies on that episode, but only showed a few. Just seems a waste.

I know we're only 2 episodes in, but I have to be completely honest here...

The actors aren't all that great... The scenery isn't all that accurate seeming... The plot line is kinda sketchy at this point, somewhat unbelievable, and kinda confusing... yadda yadda yadda...

Basically, this show is trying to meld a lot of the things that are hip in culture right now... Protagonist is basically a ripoff of Katniss from Hunger Games... Antagonist is basically your average post-apocalyptic power hungry villain without anything really interesting going on... I mean really, what is the point of the militia in the grand scheme of things and why is this guy their leader anyways?

I know this review sounds really negative, and we're only 2 episodes in, but I'm sorry... I'm not gonna just eat it up because of who is behind it... I'll still watch, but if they don't do something interesting soon, this will go the way of The Event (which by this point was a FAR better show), Persons Unknown, The Cape, or any other "new" NBC show the past several years...

Welcome to life as an extra.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but I'd gather they want it to look more apocalyptic...with people still not really socializing again and more nomadic and solitary in their efforts to cope and live. Less people = a bleaker outlook to set the show up for it's hero's/heroes' quest.

Like I said, it wasnt in reference to screen time, it was an observation from just being around everything.
