Question to GTFO Hurney group

Well considering We seemingly lost half starters on the o-line, d-line , Beason, Secondary(Gamble/ Martin lost) others benched and played winning football with back ups everywhere Maybe Hurney got all the right players... The coach was just starting the wrong ones....

Outside of that though hIs supposed cap genius was looking more like poo (RBs) and almost all of his draft day trades looked even worse.

The moves Hurney's made have been more bad than good in the last few years.

But this thread espouses a central question that people kept asking when others would be calling for Hurney to be fired. "Well who could we get that can run a team?" It was never a good question because we ended up interviewing some really good candidates, and the person we ended up replacing Hurney with has been heavily involved in building winners in 3 different organizations in the last 25 years. People just kept thinking that Hurney was the bottom line and didn't understand that there were better candidates waiting to be hired.

Apparently, he hasn't even gotten a sniff to be anything for any other team. Not assistant GM, not capologist, not anything.

That tells you everything you need to know.

Well, we need a professional sports reporter to cover the Carolina Panthers like they do in the larger markets. You know the type of reporter that actually provides in-depth coverage, year around. If Marty is looking for gainful employment, in something he is qualified to do, he might want to start there. I suspect he could provide some pretty good "insider" information on the team too.
