2 Things About Cam

1. That deep ball he threw to Murphy was beautiful. To me it was like watching a b-ball player release the basketball and you knew soon as he shot it, it was going in.

2. The reason I don't really pay attention to people negative views and comments on Cam is cause I know we're at-least letting him be a QB. I and others have noticed and say the pressure needs to be taken off him sometimes, but at-least we're not treating him like a game manager. I do think those attempts should be hovering around 26 instead of in the 30's, but to me it's really only preparing him to be even more efficient in his 30's

Get used to the negative comments about cam. I suspect he will be one of those guys who is called a choker and a loser for most of his career because his team won't be very good, meanwhile the same people will be proclaiming lesser QBs as superior because they play for better teams. The truth is that Cam is going to be a top 5 QB at worst for a very long time. Wish we had a front office that could take advantage of it.

cam's ball placement was outstanding all game long (with the exception, arguably, of the deep ball to smith that god picked, which was underthrown by a foot or two.

if he keeps it up the rest of the season, along with a halfway decent defense, we'll be fine.

    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
