What part of the team is strongest and what is the weakest?

QBs:

Delhomme, McCown, Moore

Jake is a top 15 QB, but will throw at least 15 picks a year.. McCown is legit backup that can come in and win a few game.. Moore is also proven to be Moore than 'just another arm in camp'..

RBs:

Williams, Stewart, Goodson, Hoover, Fiametta + Fodder

Williams might contend for MVP this year if he continues where he left off last year.. Stewart is better than 75% of the starting RBs in the league.. Goodson looks to have the home run ability and Hoov and Fiametta should be able to clear the way..

WRs:

Smitty, Moose, Jarrett, Robinson, Carter + Fodder

Smith is top 3 if not the b.. Moose almost had 1,000 yds last year but is getting old.. Jarrett has upside but hasnt proven anything yet.. Robinson and Carter are preseason standouts, but thats all..

O-line:

Gross, Wharton, Kalil, Vincent, Otah, Duke, Bernadeu + Fodder

we lost 2 Tackles and 1 Guards/Center in FA this year.. we still have a dominant run bloking line and excellent pass blocking too.. will the young guys be able to fill in like Bridges, Hangman and Omenyale did?

TEs:

King, Rosario, Barnidge

King is a good blocker and decent pass catcher.. Rosario is a liability in blocking and good at catching.. Barnidge is same as Rosario but a better catcher..

D-line:

Peppers, Johnson, Brown, Brayton, Kemoeatu, Lewis, Walker + Fodder

this is assuming Pep returns for 1 year.. without him, is is decent.. with him it looks pretty nasty..

LBs:

Beason, Davis, Diggs, Conner, Anderson, L.Johnson + Fodder

Quick fast LB core with some guys coming off injuries.. if they stay healthy, could be best in the league..

DBs:

Gamble, Godfrey, Harris, Marshall, Salley, Wilson, Wesley + Fodder

some younger guys need to step up to be legit in the starting roles.. all starters have playmaking ability.. Marshall, Gamble and Harris more so.. if the D-line can get consistent pressure this year and they are turned loose by Meeks to jump routes, look for a lot of INTs

rb and ol is deff the strongest even with the questions as far as our depth goes on the oline. DB and DL id say is the weakest IMO the we have good talent there but no one really knows how good well be at those positions until they get on the field

:iagree:

Without question, our running backs and the line they run behind are the best aspect of our team.

Does someone really think our tight ends and defensive line are the best part of our team, or did they misunderstand the question.

i think our RBs and LBs are our best units because of the starters and backup we have in depth.. but the worst units are harder to tell, but ima have ta go with the D-line.. our TEs are great but they have proven to be good at what we need them to do.. our D-line hasnt gotten pressure or stopped the run all that well and they are a huge ? right now..

    • I would write “give remmers tight end help” on a yellow sticky note and stuck it in shulas playbook the night before superbowl 50.
    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
