Giants fans using local sports radio to claim...

Not that sad when you consider the number of NY/NJ transplants in the area.

Think about it: The Panthers are a small market team with a 9-25 record over the last three seasons, and attendance at the home opener was over 72K, primarily Panthers fans. I expect the same, if not better numbers tonight. Again, primarily Panthers fans. There is nothing "sad" about it, unless you're just looking for a reason to complain.

There will always be fans of both teams at BOA. It's that way at every sporting event in the country, even in those markets with the most die-hard supporters.

Also, local sports radio is not going to be a true reflection of the Charlotte sports market. They are going to take those callers and run with that agenda because it stirs the locals up and gets them to make threads like this which makes the radio show relevant. It's the same tactic used by ESPN and Skip Bayless.

Best thing to do is ignore them.

I'm sorry....I must have missed something.

If 20-25% of the crowd tonight are rooting for the giants............. it is fu*king SAD.!!

It was very dry but I was being sarcastic. No clue where lil thug one and lil thug two are from. Was assuming based on how trashy everything looked.

It does have a pump you up beat to it but when you listen to the words I feel dumber. Maybe Falcons fans listen to this too much? Would explain a lot...

Yeah, didn't catch the sarcasm.

I think Scrappy is an idiot for the most part, but like I said, the song does make you want to fight.

And I doubt the song has an effect on Atlanta fans... They are born retarded.

Says the guy who probably attends one of Carolina's many loony megachurches.

That's your standard for measuring intelligence, or lack thereof? LOL.

Why are you even here?

What time do you get off from your toll booth, and how does your phone still have enough battery for internet access?

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
