jets made a couple championship games with slow , undersized white boys in jim leonard and eric smith. yoh dont need to be a superstar back there, just do your job

Leonard didn't have tons of talent but he was smart and play the S spot well. He was a much better S than a more talented Godfrey is

Yeah but the jets front 7 and Cb's then take a big dumb on ours. Also I don't Disagree with you CRA a Landry and Martin combo could be pretty solid. I still want to see Martin out there now over Nakamura. I really don't understand why he is starting over Martin.

As bad as Nakamura is and how his inability forced them to scheme to limit him.....

I think Martin is on the bench today....bc JR is influencing a young HC. Which doesn't speak well about Ron. Can't think of anything else it could be. Martin can't tackle....but he has had moments outside of 2011 of dang good coverage

Godfrey has good hands, and a little speed, that's about it. He's definitely not a SS, TD is probably the best SS we got on the team.

Godfrey is a average FS at best, playing SS.

Even with that said, him and Martin are no where near as bad as Nakamura.

Reggie Smith was playing SS, but was probably the best FS we had, and we cut him. He definitely had better range than anyone on the team.

2 down LB paid like an every down LB.

He is overpaid. But on a poo defense guys get over valued and overrated. Anderson is a solid 2 down LB.....nothing more. What is sad is he consistently does his job....while others don't

Per PFF Anderson the past two years has been graded as the fourth and eleventh best covering OLB with players with at least 50 percent of snaps. His contract year displayed a high level of play, that had he carried over in the following years wouldve made that contract acceptable.
