Advice/Suggestions Needed

i called the health dept they told me to call environmental health. I called them and had to leave a msg.

the problems with this place are horrible and not just with the building. the people are tainted too.

my life was pretty close to perfect before i got this ***** of a job.

DON'T rely solely on the labor board/workers comp commission to tell you what you need to know about your claim. Get a lawyer ASAP who can help you through the WC thing. The WC insurance company for the employer will try to stick it to you and get off with paying as little as possible. You may have a permanent or at least long-term disability that may hinder your ability to work in your chosen field, or in any field. Do NOT take that for granted.

So sorry for this, but I flew through reading these posts in my anger about that cat in the cage, so I'm not sure if this was mentioned before. ASPCA would like to see that cat picture you posted, and I don't know the NC animal control laws, but there's enough there (just with the cat) for criminal charges in some states.

Also, about the smell; I know it's hard to quantify smells, but I've never been in an "animal place" (Shelter, kennel, etc...) where my first thought wasn't "Ugh, this place stinks." I'm not defending what they've got going on in there, just pointing out my experience.

I hope this all works out for you first, and for all the animals they are responsible of caring for in a close second. Please do realize that not all places that care for animals are like this, and down the road, if you enjoy the work, hopefully you can find a better one.

I'm on the Board of Directors for our local SPCA chapter and have a vested interest in kennel construction and maintenance, among other things. I'm in VA, but very close to the NC border if you're in fact in NC. I might could make a few calls and find out what can be done, who is actually the governing body over the place.

If you PM me I'll give you my personal email- if you would consider emailing me the pics you used in this thread, I'll start making some calls.

So I've downloaded all the pics you posted, complete with descriptions. I can make a couple calls and start the ball rolling on whatever needs to be done. The question is, are you willing to do the right thing?

Your health, as well as other employees and the animals is being jeopardized with the mold and moisture issues- not to mention waste- as you breath mold spores and bacteria all day long.

Growing grass on the roof and they wonder why the ceilings are caving in?

Seriously, LisaG, PM me the address of the place- if you PM me, I'll never know your name if that's an issue for you. Have someone else PM me or do something, but don't continue to turn a blind eye toward the animals and the people who are likely suffering who knows what kind of symptoms with all the garbage air they're breathing.

I'd be on the front door step tomorrow if I knew who/what/where.

I heard today that this place passed the county inspection a few months ago. AAHA is coming for their inspection next Wednesday.

Another one of my coworkers payroll check bounced.

They issued me another check today but I'm afraid it will bounce too. I might just be working for this place for free for all I know.

    • Went to school in MD when this came out. Dance floor got CRAZY when this joint came on!
    • They had best show out in Week 1 there are zero,I mean zero,  excuses for that offense  defense, haven’t play together yet and they still have Mr Soft and Predictable as DC  I expect break downs at times  …but that offense returns all starters except Tremble and both Mayes and Brady are veterans and can play LG and know the system not up for any participation awards this season they can save that practice energy for Jacksonville.     I’m sick of the, winning,  or looking competitive, when it doesn’t matter.   
    • There are some tough decisions that I'm eager to see the results of... Does Blackshear sneak on to the roster as RB4? Does the team go with 4 TEs or just 3 again? And has Mitchell Evans done enough to defend his roster spot from James Mitchell? Who is WR6 and is there a WR7? TMac, XL, Coker, and AT seem to be locks imo and I'm assuming Renfrow also makes it due to all of the camp praise. Who makes it between Brycen Tremayne, Jimmy Horn Jr, and David Moore? If the team goes with 7 WRs, which one of those three doesn't make it? Jacolby George and Emani Bailey both have not gotten a lot of game time. Could the Panthers be trying to hide them so that they can be stashed on the PS? Do they go with 10 OL instead of 9? Who makes it out of Walton, Carter, and Kingston? DL locks are DB, BB3, ARob, and Turk. That leaves Jaden Crumedy, Cam Jackson, Sam Roberts, Shy Tuttle, and LaBryan Ray all competing for the final 1 - 3 spots. Does DJ Johnson get IR'd and Thomas Incoom make the roster as EDGE5? What in the fuuuuuuuuuuuuck is going to happen at LB? Only locks seem to be Wallace, Rozeboom, and Cherelus (Wallace has mentioned in media how Cherelus has been big bro for him on the team). Rhattigan had some good moments against Houston, Martin-Scott is an SC guy, Krys Barnes has popped on defense and on special teams, and Windmon got time starting for the team last season. Are two of those guys going to make it or are the Panthers poaching from another team's cuts? CB5... who is it? Do they go with the 4 expected safeties or bring in a 5th? Has Ransom done enough to take the start from Nick Scott?
