Big Beas...

Kuechly has the potential to be so much more than a MLB. I'll be sick if we move him there.

Why? Luke has MLB written all over him. I'll be sick if we pointlessly start Jason Phillips and a gimpy bad version of Beason all year....only to have Luke get the job next year.

I will also be sick if they insert Luke late this year and the defense becomes steady with reliable play inside with Luke at MLB and TD getting a bulk of the WLB reps.

I would think that RR has been around long enough to know where Luke best fits this Defense.I dont think anyone has said that Luke was going to be moved inside next year. i think they are still in hope that Beast will come back.

Luke and Phillips might play well Together Never Know !!

Ron Rivera didn't draft Luke Kuechly to play him at WLB.....WLB is just a temporary job. Rivera should just make the move. When Beason recovers put him at weak side and just let him thump people.

Phillips is a backup. Nothing wrong with it. But we can put better options out there big picture.

If Rivera didn't draft Kuechly to play WLB, he has a funny way of showing it.

Didn't draft him to nessecarily start him there out of the gate....but you don't draft the best MLB prospect in a decade without that being in the plan.
