To put our suckyness into perspective

Awesomeness!!

See, our defense was very much the same in 2001 as it was in 2002 and 2003, which was my point. Fox took an awful team, and turned them around. Rivera has a talented team, and..we may be picking first this year in the draft..

Not true.

Fox simply added the right kind of offense in 2003....

The 2002 D and ST were also better than anything Rivera has. In 2003 Fox simply added the complimentary offense to a strong D and ST.

Carolina had very very good D in 2002. #2 ranked D despite a weak O.

Carolina wasn't awful in 2002. Offense was just fixed from 2002 to 2003

In John Foxes first year, Rodney Peete was the starting QB, and we started 3-0. This coming off an awful 1-15 season, and Fox had the same players mind you. We ended up 7-9, winning 4 out of our last 5. In his season year, Fox went to CAREER BACKUP JAKE DELHOMME and started 5-0, and of course, ended up a John Kasey kick away from winning a Super Bowl.

Ron Rivera punted the ball on a 4th an 1 from the 45 with a 6'6 260 QB that would have won the game.

Based on Fox having Peyton Manning instead of Rodney Peete this year, they should be undefeated.

    • I may be way off base, let’s include this in that questions thread, but with the way the offensive staff turned on each other in 2023 I am happy to see anyone involved, gone. I had a bad feeling about Caldwell over it.
    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
