Head coaching candidates..

No to Andy Reid. He throws the ball a million times a game. Look at how Shady McCoy barely touches the ball. Bump that, we got some really talented backs in this offense, and I want a guy who will use that consistently, as well as passing the ball. Besides, look at Vick's progress. I don't want Andy tainting Cam's career in any way.

I doubt it happens this season. Or even next season.

On the off chance he was let go, I'd love to look at Zimmer. Also agree with MLB_RB that if Reid were available (and willing to coach a small market team) we should be all over that.

Mike Zimmer has long been a favorite HC candidate of mine. Can't believe he hasn't gotten a job yet. Likely a product of coaching in Cincy where he gets little attention. But he's done some good things with that defense without having a poo ton of talent to work with.

For the record, I am tired of the Harbaugh talk. I continue to to hear folks say, "Richardson and Hurney were never interested in Harbaugh." How about getting your facts straight and realize that Hurney did in fact contacted Harbaugh but Harbaugh didn't want to come to Carolina for an interview.

Besides that, what makes you think he would've had the same success here as he is having in SF? Their defense is far better then ours.

Oh my god stop thinking a dominant running game is going to take us the distance

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
