Vick's out

I wonder why...

Dogs are intelligent, loving, playful, and make great companions. They have more uses than you think (companion, working, guarding etc.). Pit Bulls are good for companions and guarding. They are gentle by nature, kind of clowns really. They would do anything to please their master. Making them fight is down right despicable act and if I ever see Michael Vick, I'll let him know how I feel about what he did. Take from that what you will.

I don't think Vick wants to hear it from you. I think he knows now that he screwed up. When you lose the kind of dough he lost and the respect he lost, he doesn't need to be reminded about it. The man served his time and I think he will be ok now. You would be surprised at the people that you know that might be doing something illegal that you don't approve of.

Don't imply that the people I know would be doing something illegal, for you yourself don't know them. As for Vick, I don't care if he wants to hear it or not. I doubt I will ever see him, but if I do, he will hear about it from me.

  • 3 weeks later...

I've heard rumour that 3 out of the 4 teams interested are from the NFC West....please....God...no...don't let him become a Seahawk!

Enhance your calm.

Seahawks coach Jim Mora says Michael Vick deserves to be reinstated to the NFL, though that second chance apparently wouldn't come in Seattle.

Mora, who coached Vick when he was the Atlanta Falcons' quarterback, said Wednesday during the Seahawks' mandatory minicamp: "I believe he's paid his debt to society."

But Mora said Seattle won't be adding any quarterbacks.

:D All this Vick hate and the intensity of it is getting to be funny. I've never liked him, not even when he was a college "hero" at Virginia Tech, but I don't hate the man. Sure, I was angry at him for his part in dog fighting, I love dogs as much as anybody not named Ubecool454. But he's done his time and now deserves the right to come out and be a part of society again. Why can't you allow him the right to do that?

I agree, and I hate Vick.

I can see the point, but my counter would be that there's no such thing as a "right" to play in the NFL, and I've seen way too many folks acting as if the NFL owes him reinstatement.

They don't :nonod:

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
