Its amazing to me that none of thid ever gets back to Cam. Its the coaches fault nope its his team mates fault. Maybe its Cam throwing a pass into the dirt with a TE standing wide open in the endzone. Or Cam fumbling the ball after getting the first down to end the game. We should be 3-2 right now but 2 bad plays by Cam lost the game in both instaces. Cam is like Obama nothing is his fault. Bad news guys hes gonna be a great QB but hes gonna take his lumps

Gotta disagree.

Cam gets too much credit when things go good, and too much blame when things go bad. For example, no one has talked about the play to Murphy at the goal line, where if he fights for the extra 6 inches, we win the game. Nobody talks about the great play by Captain which is the only thing that even had us in the game. It's not all on the QB, good or bad.

Another case in point...we have heard over and over about the stat that we've never won when Cam threw a pick. Turnovers by Joe Adams, or DWill, or Smitty have the exact same impact on the game as a pick, but instead we keep hearing how we can't win if Cam throws a pick.

There are 46 guys active on game day, not 1. Cam didn't lose 2 games by himself anymore than he won the New Orleans game by himself.

This is a QB league. And when you demand attention like Cam does. You have to expect the pressure as well.

I'm guessing we simplified the offense after struggling against TB, but it's not fair to assume that it was Cam who needed things to be simplified... maybe his teammates weren't up to speed?

This is my thought, but I am also including Cam in this as well.

I think that the line is not all that good, Cam has regressed, our WR's aren't getting separation, and the coaches are trying to gimmick our way out of it.

All around bad.

And that is the lazy way out. If you are going to attribute everything good and everything bad to the QB position, you might as well forget about the real games and just stick to fantasy football.

No one is talking about pressure. Of course the QB is under more pressure than any other position and that's the way it should be. But what we are talking about is field performance, and that's different.
