the zoo story - sad

the first 6 or 7 pages of this thread - pathetic and makes me wonder what the hell I sign in for

the last 6 or 7 pages - entertaining and funny as hell and reminds me of why I sign in

as for women not being protectors...if I wasn't there and you did something to my kid, my wife would rip your limbs off one at a time and beat your skull in with them....so I disagree with your opinion

Story was sad to be real. I have a two year old, and my wife is about as clumsy as they come. I think I just imagined what I would do or how I would feel if this were my boy. Several posters thought it wasn't a good idea to post the link until this am... That's why I didn't.

I definitely could relate to this story. As a few of us talked about through PM last night... Women just aren't protecters. We are, and to imagine what that father is dealing with right now is unimaginable.

Making fun of the way I handled it is cool, but these dingo dog posts are a little out of hand.

WTF? And no, I'm not a protecter; I'm a protector.

Just so you know, a forum of 99% women has been discussing this since it happened, with links. One even knows the mother. You mean to tell me that you, a big strong protector man couldn't handle discussing it, but a bunch of clumsy, nonprotecting women could?

    • I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.
    • Sure.    ignore that he said this roster wasn’t good in 2023 to 2024 but keep up the effort
    • While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
