This week the Bucs come to town for a 1pm matchup. The Huddle continues its 9th season of putting on a donation tailgate with all proceeds going to at the end of the year. Members of the Huddle have donated well over $20,000 and over 600 bikes to Toys for Tots over the years. Every single game over 8 seasons have been sponsored by and companies alike and this year is fully sponsored as well. Posters or companies sponsor all the food and non-alcoholic drinks and fans come and partake while leaving a donation in the bucket. 100% of all monies used to purchase bikes donated to Toys for Tots at stadium.

This week's tailgate is sponsored by Sharp Business Systems.

This week's fare is a staple and fan favorite Ranuccis BBQ and Grill. Please visit www.ranuccis.com for any of your catering needs or visit his restaurant. This week's fare will include BBQ with all the fixin's as well as brunswick stew to warm the day up.

Here is the usual info, and any other questions about the tailgate please direct to this thread:

Where? WE HAVE A NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR DUE TO DEMOLITION OF THE OLD LOT. WE ARE LOCATED AT A LARGE LOT AT THE INTERSECTION OF TRYON, 3RD ST, AND CHURCH. WE WILL HAVE TENTS WITH A HUDDLE BANNER ON IT. Basically if you walk into the lot from Tryon St, you will run right into us.

What? Lots of good food and non-alcoholic drinks. BYOB if you want to drink your own booze. Tents for rain or for shade provided as well as chairs for people that need them.

When? We start at 8am Sunday. Get there early for the good food and to hang out with other Panthers fans like yourself.

Who? During the course of the day from 6am, usually 50 people pass through. You never know who will show up and opposing fans are certainly welcome. If you have no other place to tailgate and want to maximize the gameday experience this certainly kicks ass over just pulling your car up to the stadium an hour before and walking in. You'll get better food here than any heat lamped fries or pretzels you'll get in the stadium and have a good time tailgating no matter what the score is for the game.

Any other questions this is the thread to ask in.

Alex will not be available for this game, he is just providing the food. I could do the turds no problem....but would need a smoker since they cannot go on direct heat. Alex will be in person for the next home game Dec. 9th. If somebody wants to bring down a smoker, then we can do turds this Sunday.

    • Don't think your comparisons are germaine. Teddy and Bryce are nothing alike. And no I am not always right  or  wrong but the difference is I let the experts inform me and follow those who do know. And after all the constant wrong takes you go on and on about just like this one, I don't feel like we are kindred souls or like minded. I will be glad to compare my takes versus yours anytime.  And have no clue what you are talking about regarding stern lectures. But I can see around here if you take a constant negative approach to everything you get a lot of support and given our track record you may be right about some things. I don't live my life that way nor do I constant like to complain like you.
    • Never, and it doesn't have to be an old grizzled vet, sometimes a vet can learn something from a young player too.   Do you not see players talking to each other between plays, quarters, on the bench, wherever, in EVERY sport? It's what players do, especially the great ones, they're always working on their craft and learning tips from others to better themselves.   So when your entire receiving room outside of one player, who has mostly played special teams in his career, has played 1 season or less in the NFL, it's not a lot of experience there in the locker room and on the sideline and is a tad concerning in regards to the proper growth of all these young WRs with great potential.
    • So me "putting my foot down" would be me spending more money each season to watch the games without sound at the bar? Do you not see how dumb that sounds? Streaming a game here or there isn't tough, but doing it for 17 games a season, when more than half the time the quality is terrible if it's even working at all, and it's just an awful experience to follow your favorite team. It's literally spending at minimum an extra $100 a season to have a worse viewing experience if I were to "put my foot down" as you say, and then don't get to also be able to easily watch all my fantasy players as a bonus on top. I spent at over a dozen years going to the bar every Sunday to watch us play, so now that I get to watch from the comfort of my couch, plus get all the other games, and spend less money doing so, yea, I'm going to pay that money without a second thought, it's a great deal for me and tons of other fans.
