for around 300 plus tax. not from that site though. my main question is if anyone here knows a thing or two about mossbergs , fill me in, beacuse the there are so many types of 500's out there and i cant really find the differences. i tried google searching but never really get an answer. under 500 is my price range for one and ive read that mossbergs are very reliable. any knowledge of them would be appreciated.

Benellis are top of the line and this one is under $500

ive heard that they are, but i meant to type under 400, my fault. idk though ive looked into benelli but ive always liked mossberg for some reason. i should look into them more though

Whatever you get, make sure you place it deep in your shoulders

im a brute so i dont think i should have a problem with recoil lol

I prefer the Mossberg 500 and 590 over the 870 for several reasons. I prefer the location of the safety on the mossbergs, dual extractors vs.the 870's single extractors, and the mossbergs have a non spring loaded shell elevator. However, the Mossberg's fit and finish are not as good as the Remingtons. You really can't go wrong buying either one.

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
