People can keep pipe dreaming about Victor Cruz,NY will resign him to a big contract,and I doubt he wants to come to little ohh Charlotte.He is a fan favorite in New York he isn't leaving anytime soon.

Stick with a realistic target like Dwayne Bowe,he never played with a qb like Cam he would be sick with Smitty taking pressure off him.

jared cook a speedy te who if we cant get cam a redzone taget might feel that spot puts that gives cam more vertical options, i don't know how his blocking is though.

josh cribs get him for cheap place him at kick and punt return and get this special teams some life

laron landry is a tone setter although he lacks ball-hawking ability like byrd, him and godfrey will make wr,and te's pay for going across the middle only thing wrong is the way the nfl is changing constantly where big hit players are slowly becoming extincted by all means sign byrd if possibly this is just a backup plan.

add wr,dt, and o line help through the draft but with ron and dwan at dt, i say get wr help asap along with o line help

I really want a Byrd or Goldshon but I think these are two guys we could really bring in with our cap issue. Chung is pretty bad but he's not Naka bad.

a few restructures and cuts here and there (inevitable with a new GM coming in) and we'll have the cap space to sign at least one of those guys. since cutting any of our running backs probably just isn't going to happen, the best strategy is probably to invest heavily in the offensive line. bring in a top-tier free agent (clady would be outstanding) and draft an OG or a T as well. helping the run game helps cam helps the defense helps the W/L column.

rivera has done a pretty damn impressive job with the defense in spite of massive injuries, so as much as i'd love byrd, i don't think he's an imperative sign (and buffalo won't let him go anyway.) a veteran DT is a must, maybe a veteran CB as well.

we're not as far off as we think
