Dallas DC Rob Ryan Fired

The "Idiot Owner" tour for Jerry Jones continues.

I don't like Ryan anymore than the next guy, but the Dallas D wasn't this issue this season. They has a couple injuries along the way, but their pass D was 14 and the run D was 11.

A slightly above average defense with a team 8-8 record. Now, they did have the #3 passing offense, but their rush offense was 31.

Seems to me the D was pretty consistent against the run and pass, but the offense can't run the ball.... so they fire the DC.

Since both team's owners apparently have few answers when it comes to winning, but are good at firing people, maybe our Jerry can fire their Jerry and their Jerry can fire our Jerry, then both franchises can start down the road to recovery from meddlesome owners that do more harm than good.

With the talent they have on the defensive side of the ball and the expensive additions they made to the secondary, the Cowboys defense majorly underachieved this year.

Rob Ryan is just like his brother Rex.....marginal coaches who get by because of their last name.

Agreed, but look at their #3 passing offense and tell me that isn't underachieving as well. When you have zero running game and everybody and their brother knows you're going to pass, and you're still extremely successful doing it... and win 8 games.

I think their D played better than their completely unbalanced, pass-only offense.
