POLL: How do you see the Panthers season unfolding?

64 members have voted

  1. 1. How do you see the Panthers season unfolding?

    • 9 or 10 wins, sneaking into a wild card spot?
    • 11 or more wins with a first week bye and winners of NFCS?
    • Below .500 by mid season with Rivera fired at or before the Bye week?
    • Rivera imploding, new offensive scheme struggles, in play for number 1 overall pick?

I know a lot will happen with over the months with the draft, off season roster moves etc but so far with a new GM and knowing we will have a new OC, how do you think the next season will play out? It really is hard to tell, I do think whatever happens it will be a boom 10 plus win year or a bust 4 win or less year. The new OC is a wild card, will it hurt or help Cam and the offense? What do you think?

want to see who we get at OC and other coaching positions that are open.

want to see what personnel changes we make (draft/FA/trade/cuts).

want to see how they are when they are allowed to practice again.

i don't trust rivera, but i'm not writing off the season just yet. kind of early for that.

IMO, this team's future success depends grately on whether the offense will step up and do their part to help Cam and the defense becoming a more solid unit to the point where even if one gets injured the entire team doesn't fall apart. Another season of watching folks leavng everything up to Cam will not help this team.

When I look at the 49ers offense with Colin, I see the Panthers offense minus the discipline.

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
