The way I understand it. If a player is released he can sign with anyone. However thoses that become Free Agents on the 12th. They cannot sign until the 12th.

I might be wrong but it is the only explanation as to why Robinson was able to sign with the Chief. From what I have read it was signed not negotiated.

I'd smoke screen Gamble to death if he plays his usual 10 yards off. Throw it out there and force him to try to make an open field tackle. LaFell may not be fast, but the dude is pretty damn hard to tackle.

Yea, but Lafail isnt the kind of player you use on smoke screen. He may be hard to tackle down, but cant make the first guy miss.
