Charlotte Bobcats (13-49) @ Washington Wizards (19-41)

Kemba has J. Wall on skates right now...nice spin move/cross deep into the lane...faked the tough lay-up, with a wrap-around assist to haywood for the dunk.

Deep penetration into the paint and finding guys is how Kemba can become a dangerous distributor in the future.

'Cats been down as much as 22 most of the second and third quarters. Charlotte has clawed (swidt?) back to as close as nine early in the fourth.

Sure enough, Wizards go on 5-0 run to go up 88-74 halfway through the fourth.

I was at the game and I will just give my 2 cents:

Watching Reggie Williams run the point when Kemba goes out is something no fan should have to watch.. Sessions injury is devastating..

Mullens barely played and when he did maybe attempted 1 shot, maybe?- (was that cus the ankle injury?) he ripped the Wiz last 2 times we played them

Kemba is a BOSS.. he is the only thing we have on offense.. there are no 'plays' run in Dunlaps system- just trying to create something in isolation and forcing up shots.. dont think I saw one "open look" from a Bobcats player all night

MKG shudnt have the ball in his hands unless driving to the basket.. period.. dont know whose hands are worse, his or Biz's

Dunlap's rotations are horrid.. nothing new here

someone wil offer $$ for Hendo and he will leave for a contender this offseason for sure

I pretty much disagree with all of this

I pretty much disagree with all of this

then you are pretty much wrong

EDIT: mind you- this was posted after the Loss in Washington- not the win last night in Charlotte

and I still stand by my words..

Williams is horrid at the point- hence the Pargo signing

MKG is a slasher- hence the awesome facial dunk

Kemba is a BOSS- hence the cold blooded way he closed the game for us

Hendo will probably leave- i hope not though

Cut MKG some slack, he is the youngest player in the NBA and still raw but with untapped potential.

I expect a good year from him next year once he gets through this season. The only fault I see in his game is his timid-ness, some times he just needs to get Ben Gordon syndrome, put his head down and drive to the basket. He is already right up there with Henderson as the best driver on the team.

    • It's actually interesting you mention Richardson because I've seen it suggested here Bryce will have 500 or more rushing yards and 5-10 rushing touchdowns this year. And if big Anthony Richardson can get hurt carrying the rock what's that tell you about the practicality of thinking Bryce won't?
    • I mean, I get why the media and some NFL and Carolina fans are saying that we don't have a real chance, but as many Huddlers should know, we won't know what we really have in this team until probably late September or early October at the earliest. And I'm not trying to be a homer, I'm just looking at things historically. Obviously I'm also looking at Bryce's "palatable" improvement the last half of last season (including being the catalyst for hanging with and nearly beating the Super Bowl participants), and the new additions that we've acquired overall. I'm also looking at the beginnings of a culture change--even if perceptibly subtle--to some degree indeed may take a foothold if things start falling the right way. But, overall, I'm still cognizant of the realization that things could just go south and that perhaps that Bryce could revert and flop, or that D & D (Dan and Dave) are not the answer, but I still am not ready to say "we're far away." Hell we could be close, albeit with growing pains, but even if we're on the course to bring legit in 2026, then guys like Ramsey would be welcome additions this season. That's just my take on it. I don't think we'll know that we're far away until some point in the season. If we can compete in the South...who knows?
    • You guys remember when the narrative on here was that Bryce would be chronically injured in the NFL due to his size and Anthony Richardson would be super durable due to his? You remember when the narrative was that Bryce was physically incapable of throwing a ball further than 20 yards in the NFL? You remember “I’ll stop complaining when he throws for more than 200 yards and looks like an NFL quarterback”? You remember when 60 sacks was his fault and not the offensive line, slow WRs, and terrible scheme? Pepperidge Farm remembers. It will always be something for some people. Whatever insanity they come up with will be quickly dropped to move on to the next thing. Bryce could have an MVP Super Bowl winning season and they would complain that we can’t run the tush push with him. It will always be something.
