I dunno....I am a huge fan of Pink but she did the same exact thing a couple years ago at the Grammys and does it all the time at her shows. The first time I saw it and for her not to be lip syncing I was really impressed. This time I was like...yeah that is impressive but I've seen it before.

I guess you're right. I'm gonna be honest, I've been to a Pink concert. She's dope as hell, my favorite female singer. But I can't say I'm biased cause I'm a huuuge Kendrick fan. I dunno, I guess I didn't like how heavy the Kendrick/Dragons performance was.

That was nearly a year ago. I've listened to his newer work, I like it, the guy is talented, never argued otherwise. Point is, the majority of mainstream hip hop/rap artists are all either rapping, or talking about the same things. Kendrick seems to be trying to separate himself though.

I think using Swimming Pools as an example may not be the best idea.

kendrick is laughing his way to the bank on swimming pools. kids are stupid. he proved it every time you hear that song played at a party. that was the point of the song. and it was his first single off of his 1st "major" album.

pretty ballsy.

as for the extended version (actual cd version) on the album that flows nicely into the next song and continues the storyline. he didnt make that song just for the charts. if you listen to the album entirely it doesn't miss a beat, in fact its one of the highlights of the album if you didn't know it was his "hit"

Yeah anyone not up to date on Kendrick never listened enough.  I was guilty of that too..

Since then my eyes have been opened to a lot of good new hip-hop..

Ab-Soul is easily one of my favorites, ever...  Caught up on a lot of Pro Era as well..
